Dr. Ken Dernovsek is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Metabolism (which includes hormones and pubertal development). Prior to his recent retirement from 36 years of Endocrinology practice in Pueblo, Colorado, USA, Dr. Dernovsek served as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and instructor in the Internal Medicine Residency program at Parkview Hospital. He has been repeatedly named by peers to Best Doctors in America. He is President of the Sangre de Cristo guild of the Catholic Medical Association.  Dr. Dernovsek has reviewed multiple health education curriculae, having served three years on the Health Curriculum Committee in School District #60, Pueblo, Colorado. Dedicated to improvement of health via promotion of lifestyle sexual abstinence (chastity) among teens, he and his wife, dermatologist, Dr. Kim Dernovsek, have taught the Christian perspective on sexuality to youth since 1994.
