A beautiful summer night, a delicious bbq, coupled with a rocking bluegrass band met a loyal group of supporters for UCE’s 7th annual “Bluegrass & Braai” fundraiser on August 5th 2017. Thanks to all who came out to support UCE! Co-founders Drs Ken & Kim Dernovsek hosted the delightful event at their beautiful home overlooking the Pueblo Reservoir. Southern Classic Cuisine’s Willie Gay served up the delicious bbq, Fireweed entertained, and USA Director Sarah Smith delivered a summary and update on the ministry. Youth reached by UCE programs in Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Pueblo, Colorado will benefit from the generosity of all!
